BIOFERTI MANGANESE is a complexed manganese fertiliser and provides the plant with said element in a highly assimilable format. Manganese forms part of several metalloproteins. One of them is part of the water photolysis complex and oxygen formation in chloroplasts. Manganese deficiency affects the initial phase of electron transport in photosynthesis and carbon dioxide fixation, phosphorylation and the reduction of nitrates and sulphates. Manganese forms part of very important enzymes involved in reducing nitrates to nitrites and in protein synthesis. It increases sugar content, chlorophyll and protein bond strength, improves sugar reflux and reinforces the plant respiration intensity. It favours the assimilation of potassium.
BIOFERTI MANGANESE plays an essential role in the indole acetic acid mechanism, as it is a cofactor of the auxin-reductase enzyme. It increases the ability of tissues to retain water, reduces respiration and accelerates development.
